This photo was taken at sunset and low tide in Brookings, Oregon near Harris Beach State Park. I had to carefully hike to this location over some very slippery rocks to find the best location and angle of the setting sun. I was surprised at the amount and size of the rock outcropping in this area as many of these rocks are not visible at all during high tide. I really liked how the sunlight highlighted the white veining in the rock located in the front, lower-right of this photograph.
